SAP SuccessFactors H2 2020 Release is here!

With a shift from four releases per year to two half yearly upgrades, SAP SuccessFactors H2 2020 has brought a plethora of innovations in this release version. While there are a lot of upgrades delivered in each solution area, but reinventing HXM (Human Experience Management) with the introduction of additional products in the suite has been a guiding principle for all innovations delivered as a part of this release. These innovations enable customers to deploy flexible solutions while keeping HXM at the heart to have a more resilient business.

Whether you are an admin or an HR leader, SAP SF H2 2020 enhancements are very important to consider, as many of these innovations are planned to boost Human Experience via technology.

1. WorkZone

SAP Work Zone (a new addition to SAP Products) for HR, helps you deliver a personalized digital workplace experience that enables employees with intuitive access to most relevant business applications and processes, information, communication. Above all it is a unified entry point for work to access all application in a user’s scope.

New Home Page

New Home Page is designed keeping employee in the focus, It has been enhanced to have dynamic content, time-sensitive tasks, “save for later” options, and frequently performed actions to make it easier to access and act right from the home page.

 2. Recruiting

Recruiting Module gained attention to enhance efficiency with workflow automation and simplification. Save the date to see 2H 2020 Recruiting Enhancements

Onboarding

If you have Onboarding 2.0 or are planning to implement, and compliance forms was on your wish list, it has been fulfilled with 2H Release. 3. Employee Central

A long-awaited feature, where many implementation consultants feared disappointment from the customers, has been deployed with this release to have company/country specific hiring experience. Configurable blocks based on specific population allows to add/remove information blocks in New Hire UI. Ability to add additional mdf blocks is a great enhancement which every customer would like to benefit from.

New master data service for SAP Field Glass integration is another innovation which will help organizations to have higher quality and consistent data to run end to end business process for external workforce more seamlessly.

4. Performance and Goals

New feedback form as a questionnaire with is a new way introduced for getting and providing feedback in a simplified manner. The card layout is very interesting UI to support feedback functionality. Goal UI in the form a card layout is another interesting enhancement to surely improve HXM.

Compensation

To meet the requirements of companied impacted by COVID-19, a new Thank You type reward functionality has been introduced in this release. This enhancement is introduced to address the need of human recognition and connection by organizations.

5. Learning

Keeping HXM as a top priority, Learning Management System was enhanced with new Course Home page embellished with learning activities, landing page and registration process. Also, additions are added for blended course and online/in-person course enhancements.

Succession and Development

Mentoring program in Succession and Development now includes a survey which triggers on completion of a mentoring program. It gives an opportunity for companies to gather feedback from the participants to have insights to mentoring programs and its effectiveness.
